A truly amazing place.

But even photos cannot convey the massive, majestic energy that you feel when standing next to it's edge.

I visited last August for the first time and will never forget rounding the final bend in the path and encountering absolute majesty. The Canyon is breathtaking. Nothing compares to the full sensory experience of being there. That said, these photos are beautiful. Thanks.

I visited Grand Canyon in August 1957. Its majesty has not diminished. Its intense colors are similar to those colors on my Kodachrome 35 mm slides, which are more than 50 years old.

Thank you for sharing locations that I did not visit.

I visited Grand Canyon in August 1957. Its majesty has not diminished. Its colors seem more intense now than colors from 1957 on Kodachrome 35 mm slides, which slides have maintained their colors.

Thank you for closer views than those I experienced over 50 years ago.
