Henry Ford once made a car out of organic (hemp) plastic that was much lighter and stronger than the materials we use now.

Here's an interesting little clip.

much lighter and stronger than the materials we use now.

It was biodegradable and made from renewable natural resources.

Ford proclaimed he would "grow automobiles from the soil."

I wonder whatever happened to that idea...

Another little known factoid of Henry Ford.
At the same time he was deciding to fuel his engines with either Alcohol or Gas. Guess when Prohibition came into effect and by who it was supported? Times up Same folks who banned hemp.
